Pay Rate: £180 - £200 per day (Depending on experience)

About the Role

Are you an experienced Commercial Flooring Installer looking for steady, local work with a well-established regional contractor?

Based in Droitwich, County Contract Flooring has been a leading commercial flooring contractor for over 30 years. We specialise in complete flooring solutions for education, healthcare, social housing, and commercial sectors across Worcestershire and the Midlands.

Due to a growing pipeline of high-quality commercial projects, we are recruiting skilled and reliable floor layers / fitters to join our team. We supply you with a company van, fuel card, and necessary tools, so you can focus on delivering high-standard installations without worrying about vehicle or equipment overheads.

Key Responsibilities

  • Installation of commercial safety flooring (including cap and cove).

  • Fitting carpet tiles and carpets in commercial environments.

  • Installation of Luxury Vinyl Tiles (LVT).

  • Comprehensive subfloor preparation, including levelling compounds, and DPMs.

  • Working efficiently to meet project deadlines and schedule requirements.

  • Representing the company professionally when liaising with clients and site managers.

Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience as a commercial floor layer / installer.

  • Hands-on expertise in safety flooring (including cap & cove) and LVT fitting.

  • In-depth knowledge of subfloor preparation.

  • Strong work ethic with the ability to work independently or as part of a fitting team.

  • Full UK Driving Licence (essential for using company vehicles).
